New K-9 team added to ISP Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force
ISP adds new K-9 team to its ISP Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to help with electronic detection.
The Indiana State Police is adding a new K-9 team to its Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.Friday morning, Sergeant Ginger Marshall and her K-9 partner Titus were welcome to the task force following their graduation. Marshall, a 12-year veteran, and Titus, a 2-year-old English Labrador, completed two weeks of training on electronic detection.Titus started his service career in Michigan as a candidate for becoming an assistance dog. He was then taken in and trained for upwards of five months by Jordan Detection K-9 in the field of electronic detection.Funding for Titus’ training was donated by Neighborhood Electronic Detection K-9 Inc., an Indianapolis nonprofit organization that has provided funding for the training of 10 similar dogs throughout the nation.
